Robin Barber

Renee Schultz

Robin Barber was born in Northampton in 1947. One of his earliest memories is wordless and silent: a toddler sitting in pebbly sand suddenly pulled into deep water by the backwash, seeing large hairy arms reaching down for him among the bubbles. He still lives for the alchemy of memory fulfilled in stories. Robin is grateful to host two adult creative writing workshops, loves working with his own writing, and co-directs Gallery of Readers with Carol Edelstein. He is honored and delighted to be reading with Kathie Fiveash.

Kathie Fiveash

Sally Bellerose

Kathie Fiveash is a naturalist and poet who divides her year between Northampton, Massachusetts and Isle au Haut, Maine, an unbridged island in Penobscot Bay. Her books include Island Naturalist, an award-winning collection of essays, and Human/Nature, a book of poems, both published by Penobscot Bay Press. Her other poetry books are Earthbound, published by Gallery of Readers Press, and Broad Brook – Poems from Fitzgerald Lake, published by Levellers Press. Her most recent work is Three Seasons, A Photographic Journey – Spring, Summer and Fall on Isle au Haut, a book of nature photographs and commentary published by Levellers Press.
